Topic: Vue Pro version npm install

jason.majors free asked 5 years ago

Hello,

I'm not sure I understand the installation instructions for vue pro installation into an existing project. (https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/vue/getting-started/quick-start/)

1) I don't understand why I would need Step 1 & 2 when what I want to do is add this to an existing project.

2) I was able to setup the GitLab account upon account activation, however there are no repositories in here. The example provided gives the URL https://git.mdbootstrap.com/mdb/vue/vu-pro.git, however that is a 404 for me.

Sorry I had to take care of some other things but I'm still unable to install the pro version. I've created an access token but it doesn't look like their's a repository in my GitLab account.

I'm getting a repository not found error at https://oauth2:[ACCESS_TOKEN]@git.mdbootstrap.com/mdb/vue/vu-pro.git/

Dear@jason.majors,

My apologies for lack in reponse.

Now you should be able to instal MDB via NPM, as all repositories were added to your GitLab account.

Best, Mateusz

Hello @Mateusz Leciejewski,

Thanks! It looks like I have all of the repos except Vue Pro now, which I should have :P

If you could please give me access to the Vue repository it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi @jason.majors,

You're right. Sorry for that, by accident I skipped this repository when I was adding all manually.

I granted you access to missing Vue repo.

Best regards, Mateusz

Yes... what is the repo all about? Are we required to have a repo on get.mdbootstrap.com?

Typically, I just do an NPM install and run the project.

I understand the access token for installation...

However, the install is not working...?

As I can see, my friend Mateusz already created an account for you and you were able to sign in. Do you still need our help?

Hello,

Yes, I do have an access token.

The quick start you've linked says I need to "Navigate to given repository, switch GIT to HTTP and copy it's URL i.e.: https://git.mdbootstrap.com/mdb/vue/vu-pro.git", however I do not have any repositories in the GitLab account that was created for me. Should there be repositories in my account? The example link gives me a 404.

Thanks,

Jason

Hello,

You don't need steps 1 & 2 if you have initialized your project earlier. Did you generate your gitlab access token? If not please genarate it as described here: https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/vue/getting-started/quick-start/#token and then please try to install the package using that token.

Best regards

I still haven't been able to resolve this. Please see the comment I made below:
