Thank you for the update.

I understand that there was never any guarantee for access to source, but it was there and I very much hope it can be included again.

Personally I've found it very helpful when working with mdb components to be able to review the code - in many ways its easier than reading the docs. Its also helpful to be able to extend a component to enhance or adapt its behaviour.

Anyway, that's my opinion and I thank you for listening.

The source was removed in major update. Also we have never guaranteed that source code will be available in the package. Still, it's not the final decision and we are going to discuss it with the team.

Whilst I can understand your reason to some extent - I must point out that I AM NOT STEALING from you. I'm paying and I'm being disadvantaged.

The source was available, and now it isn't. There was no announcement and no discussion.

If your code is being stolen there are other routes available to you, rather than blocking access to the source for your paying customers.

I dont like this course of action, and it gives me regrets about having chosen your framework.

I ask that you please reconsider this decision.

Hi there,

We've decided not to serve source code of our components inside package, because there is a risk of this code being stolen. From 6.0.0 version the code is deployed only in compiled and bundled mode.
