Topic: Searching in select component on touch devices
Expected behavior
On touch devices (with virtual keyboards) the select-options should stay visible, when searching in an mdb-select component. It should not be hidden under the virtual keyboard. Or at least the user should be able to scroll to the select element, while the options stay visible.
Actual behavior
As soon as the user scrolls to the select component, the options are hidden

Does somebody had the same issue? Maybe a workaround?
My options list in the select component can be really long, so it is important to make it searchable, especially on mobile devices.

Thanks for reporting an issue. We will add it to our list of features to do. For this moment, the best workaround I can suggest is to prepare a custom search box for filtering select options before opening it.
