Topic: MDBStepper Jumps.... Bug?

abnewkirk priority asked 2 years ago

Expected behavior When progressing through steps in MDBStepper, the size of the stepper should automatically resize to the size of the content.

Actual behavior When progressing through the steps in MDBStepper, the size of the step "jumps" and does not show the entire form. However, if I resize my browser, the full form will show again.

Example code can be found here: https://mdbootstrap.com/snippets/vue/abnewkirk/3729892

It looks like your example is working correctly in the snippets editor, am I right?

It was not working correct when I posted it, but now it looks like it was somehow deleted. I'll try to recreate it again and post it here.

Here is the new snippet. It's still happening here too: https://mdbootstrap.com/snippets/vue/abnewkirk/3733754

I should also note that this is occurring in Chrome, Firefox and Safari, and only occurs when I use the "linear" property for validation. If I remove the "linear" property, I still get the horizontal stepper, but without the validation (as expected), and no jumping.

@abnewkirk I still can't recreate the issue, both in snippets createor and in clear project with MDB Vue UI KIT.

Figured out a workaround and just created my own validation :) Thanks for the help with this one!
