We have tested both on Android 9 and iOS device and we couldn't reproduce this issue - https://vue.mdbootstrap.com/#/components/pro/chips (the last example). What's your Android version? Kind regards, Magdalena

It's a Pixel 3 on Android 10. Interestingly, the link you provided to the example works fine on my Pixel. I suspect it works because the demo page has no other fields in the form, but my form does. On the Android, instead of an enter key on my keyboard, it's a symbol to advance to the next field. I suspect that is the difference.

Hmmm.... I created a code snippet and tested it, and it worked the way I would expect, so I will have to compare to the code that isn't working.

I was able to duplicate the issue when I put the mdb-chip-input within a tag. Outside it works fine. I tried to create a snippet here -> https://mdbootstrap.com/snippets/vue/chipluisys-com/1675115, but the version only goes up to 5.8 and it didn't work, but you can see the code there at least.
