I would recommend to add the following to your code when someone using JSON object, creating a treeview:

So far the used/accepted fields are the following: name, children, icon, show, disabled

I recommend to add the following:

• id - if exists this will be the id of the specified node

• data - object. I data object exists, the key-value pairs inside the data object will be added as data-tags to the specific node element.
