Can I publish/deploy a MDB project on-premisses? Can it be self hosted?

What do you mean? Do you want to access the website from another computer on the local network?
We do not have a recommended way to make the production version of the website available on the local network. It all depends on the operating system you have. On the Internet you will find many articles describing how to make a website available on your local network on your system.
If you want to make the developer versions available on the web, you can achieve it by adding webpack to the project. You can use our webpack starter: https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/getting-started/webpack-starter/
It is enough to add to the start
command --host 0.0.0.0

To host MDB projects you can use MDB CLI: https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/standard/cli/
