Where exactly do we have such example? The correct syntax for modal's close button is:

    <button
      type="button"
      class="btn-close"
      data-dismiss="modal"
      aria-label="Close"
    ></button>

Close button was added in the 2.0.0 version. I suppose You have older MDB UI KIT version in Your project, that's why it's not working. Best regards

I downloaded the newest and it is working now. Thanks. Previously I was using v2 too.
