Topic: Lightbox lazy loading
I'm very surprised lightbox does not support lazy loading. I expect an option to lazy load the large images.
Actual behavior Before lightbox opens it waits until ALL full fize images have downloaded. Customers are left waiting sometimes over 1 minute for a small lightbox of only 10 images. This is very poor user experience.
Is there a workaround? As it stands I cannot use this component.
Unfortunately, we do not provide lazy loading for lightbox at the moment. We will consider adding such an option.
I mentioned this in another post here 5 months ago. Really hoping you will fix/improve this as it's pretty well unusable for a large gallery at the moment.
