Topic: How can i use the .scss files by themselves?

I want to use the floating labels by themselves. i see that I need the form-outline, form-control, and the form-label class. I tried to use the scss bootstrap forms folder because it has all the scss files. But, for example, when I open the _labels.scss I got an undeclared variable error. I'm guessing I need another file in order for the scss file to sense those variables. I don't know what other file I need. How do I turn the floating-labels, _labels, and form-control scss files into their own standalone CSS files so I can use the floating label?

I figured it out. It was a lot of trial and error. But if you just want to extract the floating input field the .scss files you'll need are the variable files and maps, core function files, the rtl fix mixins, the form rtl fix, and all the MBD forms. You can find these files in the mdb.free.scss file. Just delete or comment out the .scss files that you don't need, besides the ones I mentioned.
