Topic: Help to update version
Hello. We had an old version 4.25.3. now we bought the 5.1 but i dont understand how to change the library. where is the mdbreact-4.25.3.tgz file? do i need to unzip straight into node_modules folder?
MDB5 needs react 18 and above right?

Yes, in version 4.0.0 we migrated from React 17 to React 18
so should i update to the latest MDB4 version? what is the best way to installll the MDB5?
MDB 5 was written from scratch. The changes are very significant and in many cases it was not possible to maintain backward compatibility. Therefore, whenever possible, we recommend that you create your project from scratch in MDB5, instead of updating old MDB 4 projects to MDB 5.
In MDB5 there is no tgz file from MDB4 because MDB5 is not compatible with MDB4
