This functionality is not something we would like to add directly to this component. Everyone can implement such behaviour to any component on their own.

I designed this component to work as a regular treeview (example: VSCode). This should open and close designed section on click. If you want to change the behaviour of this component you would have to change some js code in treeview.js and recompile it to mdb.js using gulp or just changing the js code in mdb.js to serve your needs.
