Topic: Why do I have to add .modal-open class to get a modal scrolling
Jan free asked 6 years ago
Hello there.
As we bought mdbootstrap pro for angular and jquery we encountered a problem with full height (fluid) side modals. As we add long content to it, we cant scroll inside the modal and we cant reach the whole content.
So we looked at your example, were we could scroll. So i fount out, that there is a container with .modal-open class, which adds and overflow: auto the the .modal class inside.
We have now decided to add this to our whole container div. But still wondering why this is neccessary, could this lead to any failures or what is the best practice?
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
we will improve our full height modals soon. For now, you may need a workaround as you said.
Best,
Marta
