Is there an (easy) way to make the MDBSelect component follow the default behaviour of the standard html select? I'm trying to make it so an option cannot be dis-selected if it's the only one that is checked.

The "Technology" reverted back to jQuery after I editted the question. Originally, I meant this question to be relevant to React. Does the answer remain the same?
I assume you are asking about Multiselect. The answer is unfortunately no. The default behavior allows a user to uncheck all options and there is no official way to change that behavior. If you want to change that, you need to write custom code.
