Topic: how to display an alert using javascript

I cannot find an example of displaying an alert via JavaScript, would you be so kind to explain how-to ?

Like you can see in MDB documentation, there is not any option to show alerts via js. Also triggers and methods concern only 'dismiss', 'close'.
You can to check modals or notifications.
