Topic: Getting Started Guidance Suggestion
steve.vandenbrink pro asked 6 years ago
I'm finding that I run into immediate pitfalls when getting started using the framework (4.5 JQuery Pro version).
Since I have access to the big bundle I run into issues as I use the templates only as guidance, instead of using them as is with any modifications for my purpose.
I immediately find that some styling and behaviors are baked into the mbd css/js that are not considered the mbd css/js core for pro. For example certain classes applied in the templates are in a modified mbd css for those templates and I would expect to see these in the styles.css.
I'm sure under the hood these probably came from sass files that built on top of the core to create the modified mbd css that gets compiled, but it leads me to think that the goodies being used are part of the core and they are not, causing me to have to do more work to replicate or not use the styling.
Would be good to highlight either in documentation online, or a readme file in the templates that there were modifications applied and where to find them so that we can differentiate what is out of the box vs not.

Dear Steve,
thank you for the suggestion. Indeed, our templates require separated documentation. We'll take care of it in the next release. I'm sorry for inconveniences.
