Topic: double navigation with hidden side nav not working with IE 11

Hello there,

The hidden sidebar nav seems to be causing issues in IE 11:

Which version of MDB and Bootstrap are you using?

MDB PRO 4.4.1 Bootstrap v4.0.0-beta

In addition to removing the <div class=”sidenav-bg mask-strong”></div> from sidenav, I also had to change the navbar component to use appendChild and removeChild instead of append() and remove() which are not supported by IE.

The error is caused by a z-index error on IE Just remove, <div class=”sidenav-bg mask-strong”></div> from  sidenav. Regards,

Have you tested this? I removed that element in developer tools and the menu is still not clickable. I notice quite a few support issues logged for IE11. Was this browser QA'd before the latest release?

seems like QA might be lacking a bit. We have the same issue in addition to this the Carousel does not work in IE either...
