Topic: cards font issue
Daniel Santos free asked 7 years ago
I'm using the simplest card component in my page.
When I wait a bit (looking at the card) the font of the card text seem to change a bit. I have got an example at https://partilhar.github.io
Look at the card and see the strange behavior of the font. What can I do to fix it?

This issue affect the browsers Chromium, Google Chrome and Opera. The only one that is unaffected is Firefox. (I only tested this 4 browsers).
I detect that it has something to do with the carousel. Namely when it changes slide that's when this glitch occurs on the rest of the page. I notice that if my data-interval is equal or below to 1000 this glitch doesn't occurs. In every other value, it occurs.
I also tested in Google Chrome for Android and the fonts glitch doesn't occurs but when the carousel slides the cards on the page became temporarily with an extra gray border.
Has anyone tested this on their device?

And this isn't a bootstrap issue because the page without the mdb css and javascript works without a glitchFREE CONSULTATION

This only seems to be an issue in one of my computers. Maybe its my graphical card issue. Sorry for that. I'm gonna put this issue as closedDaniel Santos free commented 7 years ago
My bad, I have the same issue on both computers. Go check out my page to see the font issue. You have to wait some time then in the cards text you will see a slight switch in the font for just a secondDaniel Santos free commented 7 years ago
The navbar seems to also suffer from this issue. To the eye it seems like the line weight is changing.Daniel Santos free commented 7 years ago
This only seems to be an issue in Chromium browser. In Firefox everything is correct. I'm also on Linux, don't know if that has anything to do with itBartłomiej Malanowski staff commented 7 years ago
We just checked this issue on 5 devices and 3 browsers and everything is working fine. We cannot see anything wrongDaniel Santos free commented 7 years ago
I have put my carousel inside an iframe as a temporarely solution. Instead of checking my page check https://mdbootstrap.com/wp-content/themes/mdbootstrap4/Tutorials/bootstrap/III-1/index.html#carousel-example-1 and see the footer fonts when the slide changesBartłomiej Malanowski staff commented 7 years ago
We still cannot see your problem. What's your OS/version of browser?Daniel Santos free commented 7 years ago
I checked on Windows XP with Chrome and I could not replicate my problem. My OS is Manjaro Deepin Linux x64 and the Chrome version is 60.0.3112.113-1. This also affect Opera and Chromium with the lastest versions of it.
