Topic: Awesome font

Hi,

first of all, we purchased 4.5.16 version, which is not in the list here (by specifiyng my question).

Due to the strikted firewall setting we have to use only local versions of everything.

As far I understand, the awesome font/fonts should be loaded from https://use.fontawesome.com/releases/v5.6.3/webfonts and this loading process is inside of all.css file.

Even if we would download them from those resource we will need another version of all.css, which would reference local versions.

Please advice, what is the right way to resolve this issue.

P.S. I mentioned by posting this question, that premium support feature marked as NO. Even our license should have 1 year premium support. Please advice, what we need to do to receive premium support

We are very sorry. We were busy because we had a release to 4.7.0 with new Bootstrap 4.2.1. WP is a WordPress, we are using WordPress files (modified by our backend team ) to implement our CSS in every site but we using PHP with that also. You can have 'header.php' which will be starting header with all meta tags, links etc and FA5. FA5 cssie should be in some folder in server and all fonts also. You probably need to change path in @font-face {} src like something like that :

- src:url("../font/fa5/fa-solid-900.eot");

about the link: I am not sure anymore. Probably I was wrong saying, that it is in main documentation, if yes, sorry for that.
But there is a file named index.html in the package, and there we can see:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.7.0/css/font-awesome.min.css">
Probably we have downloaded a wrong version, which is not up-to-date? Even we purchased the product in December 2018. What is the latest version of MDB Pro at the moment, please?

About fonts: yes, we can create a folder on the server and put the fonts there. How we load them in our pages?
I suppose, the referenced all.css will try to load them from internet and fail, right?

We started support FA5 on the begging of January. 
The latest version is 4.6.1 at the moment.
Are you using WP or some other CMS?

thank for answering my question abour version. I understood, that we didn't have the latest version. So we will install it.

We don't using CMS, and I don't know, what WP is. Please help me to understand, what the right way for using FA?

Hi, thank you for your answer. But I don't understand, what should I do to reference them into my HTML page? 

If I have in header this: <link rel="stylesheet" href="https://use.fontawesome.com/releases/v5.6.3/css/all.css">

(By the way: in your main documentation you say it should be: <link rel="stylesheet" href="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.7.0/css/font-awesome.min.css">. What is the right link? As far I understand, with the first link many icons are not available).

How does all.css know that my fonts are under local folder? I need to load those fonts somehow, right?

It is absolutelly impossible to use font manager, cause we have a very complex enverienment and as a developer I only can reference in my JS or HTML files

Can you show me a link to our website where we mentioned that old version FA? We stopped support v4.7 so this information is not correct.
You can put CSS files to your server and also put fonts files like 'fa-brands-400.eot etc' with FA5 on your server, don't you? Is that what you need?
