Topic: SideNav CSS replaces form select dropdown CSS (<li> active)
jlvalenzuela free asked 5 years ago
I want to use Side Nav and Forms together, and if I put "Color variations" to my selects the SideNav css for active li, overwrite the selects li active css.
For example I have "indigo-skin" class to SideNav and "dropdown-ins" class to form select, my active selection in my contact form should be in a blue grey color, but it's pink (li active color for indigo SideNav)
Thanks in advance

Hi jlvalenzuela,
To change the style of elements using our skins you can simply modify the skin. We have tutorials on how you can accomplish that:
https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/jquery/css/color-combination/
In depth tutorial:https://mdbootstrap.com/education/bootstrap/custom-skin/
If you don't want to change the skin simply add some custom css to the project and use !important tag to make sure our package doesn't overwrite your coloring.
If you need additional help I am here for you.
Best Regards, Piotr
