Topic: BrandFlow – Languages in cookies modal

Aletiger premium asked 7 years ago

Dear support team,
I followed your tutorial: https://mdbootstrap.com/automated-app-lesson-6 about the Cookies Modal / Popup.

I have a Website translated in 5 languages, with a language parameter in URL: http://myurl.com&l=it or http://myurl.com&l=en

How should I create a traslated version of the modal content for every language?

Thanks in advance,
Alessandro

Hi Aletiger, we recreated your case on our test domain and it works. Therefore, please, check your triggers and conditions once again. A couple of things might happen: – misspelling in the condition (check spaces, special characters, etc.), – problem with an additional condition in the trigger or additional trigger (if you use two triggers, modal will be shown if any of them is fulfilled), – wrong trigger or condition added to the modal (sometimes names are similar and by accident wrong trigger/condition may be added) You mentioned, that you see both modals at the same time. I think that, in your case, it might be the problem with some additional triggers. If everything you checked is fine, then delete conditions and triggers and add them once again. Regards, Michal

Sorry, I didn't see your answer. I just tried with no success :( I'm able to insert the rule ad you suggested, but it always displays both italian and english cookies bar.

Hi, I tried your suggestion, but I can't create the Page URL condition: "Url formt is invalid" (it expects an http or similar?) I tried with Page path, but it didn't work.

Hi, you can proceed that way: 1. Create corresponding conditions for each language based on page url which contains a language parameter. For example: Page URL contains l=it 2. then create a different modal for each language and trigger it on the condition with the corresponding language. For example: trigger Cookie modal italian based on condition l=it trigger Cookie modal english based on condition l-en Let me know if it's clear and if it works for you! Best,

Please insert min. 20 characters.
