Topic: z-index missing from multiple components

Dave Moniz priority asked 3 years ago

Expected behavior

When using a nav element (default z-index 1035) elements it should appear BEHIND elements such as toasts and modals

Actual behavior

It appears in FRONT due to there being no z-index set on said components

Snippet

I'd love to provide one but snippets don't support mdbpro angular development

@MonizDave We have recently received reports regarding the problems with z-index in some components, we will investigate the matter in more detail to restore the correct display order.

Can confirm, this is fixed as of the first stable release: MDB5 1.0.0.

Closing now.

I previously (incorrectly) reported this fixed as of MDB5 1.0.0-beta7.

Modals now seem to be fine. However toasts still appear behind a fixed-top navbar.

We have this in mind. We plan to check all our components and fix their z-index
