Topic: Server certificate verification
SME Digital Ecosystem pro asked 3 years ago
I have been experiencing a build issue for the last 5 days. My project is unable to build or deliver fixes to our clients. This is a critical issue. I have been keeping an eye on this support issue: https://mdbootstrap.com/support/angular/mdbootstrap-cacert-failure-causing-build-failures/ but the response is slow. Here are the errors that we am still getting:
npm ERR!
npm ERR! fatal: unable to access 'https://oauth2:***@git.mdbootstrap.com/mdb/angular/ng-uikit-pro-standard.git/': server certificate verification failed. CAfile: /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt CRLfile: none
npm ERR!
npm ERR! exited with error code: 128

Hello,
The problem is related to ca-certificate. From Sept 30th 2021 Let's Encrypts previous root certificate DST Root CA X3 (and it's R3 intermediate) will expire. It has been replaced by their ISRG Root X1 certificate (and replacement R3 intermediate). Probably you need to update your ca-certificate. This article can help you solve this problem: https://docs.certifytheweb.com/docs/kb/kb-202109-letsencrypt/#clients-browsers-etc
Keep coding,

Changed back to open as the issue is not resolved. Then same access token generation issue.

The problem with access token generation is related to the ca-certificate about which Grzegorz wrote above. An error with the build is caused by our package. For now, you can check one of the solutions provided here: https://mdbootstrap.com/support/react/mdb5-version-1-4-0-npm-run-build-error/. but we will fix it as soon as possible :)

Can you write what tools you use and what operating system? Give also their version.
Also, write what your deployment process looks like, do you use a docker or tools from any of the external suppliers , such as AWS, Azure, GCP?
