Topic: Scrolling auto completer options closes it
Expected behavior
Scrolling auto completer options should scroll the list
Actual behavior
The list of options closes
Resources (screenshots, code snippets etc.)
NOT fixed in 8.3.1
Although scrolling using mouse drag does work in a regular form, when the auto completer is in a modal dialog box, the list is closed when dragging the scroller (note: scrolling with mouse wheel does work)

You didn't mention that this problem occur only when autocompleter is inside modal. Every information is helpful when we try to reproduce similar bugs. We will take a closer look at that.

As a workaround try to add [appendToBody]="true" to your autocomplete.
We will try to change the autocomplete behavior on blur soon.

its not fixed yet .. any solution ? I tried [appendToBody]="true" which works fine for drag and scroll but made the modal design nasty.

Which version of MDB Angular do you use? Please provide more information about the HTML/TS code you use to render the autocomplete component. This problem should no longer occur in v8.8.1 and newer.

Dear @Arkadiusz Idzikowski, it works on regular form. But when I use in pop up modal, it doesn't.
I use 8.2.0, Chrome, Windows
I just saw in 8.3.0 release notes: "Autocompleter - dropdown will no longer be closed on input click."
Is it related ?

Yes, in 8.3.0 this problem should not occur (i checked basic example from here: https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/angular/forms/autocomplete/#basic-example and scrolling auto complete options worked as it should).
Try the new version, and let me know in case of further problems.
