Topic: Please update component documentation regarding input attributes

ak.leimrey pro asked 5 years ago

*Expected behavior:*So, according to this example link...https://mdbootstrap.com/live/_MDB/index/docs/navbars/scrolling-navbar.html there is a way for the navbar to make use of its entire length without centering objects like it does now. Of course, I could use CSS to get rid of the container span that is apparently automatically created, but I would prefer to be less invasive with additional CSS rules, but there is no example of this. So my first step was to search (as I did in older documentation) for a table in which your specify the ways I can customize or change a component based on its inputs or its methods, but you don't do that anymore to the degree you used to.

Dear @ak.leimrey

Feel free to point us in this ticket your problem with the navbar examples.

About the structure of our documentation: We have developed the new template (with tabs at the top of the page) because some pages were too long.

With tab template, every page is compacted, and every information about the component (basic information, API, examples) are visible at the top of the page.

Best Regards,

Damian

Hello,

All information about inputs, outputs, methods and other useful instructions for developers are available in the API section (you need to change tab to API at the top of the documentation page).

Did you have some problems finding this section or maybe you could find it and you think that information presented there is insufficient?

Sorry for the late response, I was absent for a week. The thing is, finding the API for the corresponding component isn't really intuitive anymore. I vastly preferred the old template.

Also, I noticed several examples for the nav headers aren't actually working the way they should. Should I open a seperate case for them?

I literally struggle to find the API section. I appears to be nowhere
