Is there a way to add custom gradient colors for navbar?
I can get it to work for other elements but for some reason it does not work on navbar..

Where you did try to paste styles for navbar?
Was it a global style.scss file?

yes, I couldn't get it to work, but I found folder in ng-uikit-pro-standard and added them there and it works.. I believe it is not recommended to do so but I am still learning Angular/front-end development.. if there is a better way to do it I would appreciate the help

You can do it in your root folder. Just you can override our styles in your
project/src/styles.scss
file.
