Topic: MDBootstrap PhotoSwipe Customization Capabilities
krakow47 free asked 4 years ago
Is there a way to let's say create a custom element, let's say this element is a singular picture but when you click on it PhotoSwipe opens up and the fullscreen gallery is then displayed.
By testing something like that I'd basically want to use a bigger image and have a smaller carousel of images beneath that. But when one of the images are selected (any of them so that includes the larger image and carousel) to then display the PhotoSwipe fullscreen image gallery.

We have a lightbox component, but currently it's not possible to create custom grid for smaller images. It should be easier to customize the smaller images when we release a new version of this component:

I did figure out a solution for this problem.
I used the thumbnail carousel, with a custom PhotoSwipe element. I then register a click event on the thumbnail carousel and open the PhotoSwipe gallery with the linked images from an array.
I wasn't aware of the thumbnail carousel when I posted this question.
Issue resolved though. :)
