Topic: MDB4 to MDB5 Upgrade Guide or list of breaking changes
Hello, We're currently using Angular Version 9 with Bootstrap 4 and the MDB 9.4.0 Version.
We now want to upgrade to Angular 12 and Bootstrap 5, and we're wondering if there is an explicit documentation of the changes for the MDB Angular components from Bootstrap 4 to Bootstrap 5.
Like what components and Inputs / Outputs were available with the latest MDB Angular Version running with Bootstrap 4 in comparsion to the first Version of MDB Angular running on Bootstrap 5. And are there any kind of breaking changes in behaviour of components, like missing functionality or changed UX behaviour or even new functionality.
Sorry in advance if there's some easy to find documentation about this, but we couldn't find anything.
@ECKD Service Gmbh MDB Angular with Bootstrap 5 is a completely new product (it is not a new version of the library that uses Bootstrap 4).
We tried to keep as many similarities between these products as possible to help with migrations, but we needed to add some changes in inputs, outputs, and syntax. The components also differ greatly in terms of design.
Considering the above and the fact that customers use our components in many different ways, it would be impossible to create a migration guide for these libraries.
