Oh, well I figured out how to override so I did my own solution, I wish that you guys would be more collaborative with us developers than rather just say "It cant be done" There is one problem that is more urgent, when you use a normal HTML SELECT tag, you can use your keyboard to quickly go to the letter typed in the OPTION and select from there, but with mdb-select if you press a letter it does nothing, so there´s no quick search available, this is something that takes away a known and liked user experience for the cost of a Material Design selector that should not be taken away.
