Expected behavior Clicking on an image in lightbox to zoom in and navigating to see the rest of the pictures should not create an entry in the browser history.

Actual behavior Currently this component is creating a history entry in the browser per picture viewed in the zoom mode, so then users that want to navigate back to a previous view before the one containing the gallery will need to hit back n times.

Resources (screenshots, code snippets etc.) First, there are 2 entries in my browser history:

Then, navigate through the pics in the gallery in zoom mode, total of images 9:

and now, I want to go back, I will need to click back 9 times:

This is very cumbersome, even more in a mobile web browser
