Topic: Install MDB Pro Angular issues

tronactive free asked 5 years ago

Expected behavior Add packages to the existing project

Actual behavior Keeps erroring out when I try to install packages. As you can see in the screenshot below. I tried it a few different ways and tried things like removing package lock and yarn lock but nothing helps.

Dear tronactive,

It seems that you haven't got installed GIT on your machine, or PowerShell is not recognizing the GIT. Please try to reinstall GIT, and check one more time, or try to reproduce this problem with the normal command line.

Here are the tickets on the Internet where peoples are having a similar problem: 1, 2, 3

Best Regards,

Damian

I have GIT installed. If I remove the MDB packages from the package.json it works perfectly fine. It is only when I am I add the MDB packages that this happens.

I tried removing the lock files and node_modules and I get the below.

info No lockfile found. [1/4] Resolving packages... error Couldn't find the binary git

Did you try to remove node_modules folder as well with lock files and make full reinstall?

Please let me know if this problem still occurs, that could be temporary problem with our gitlab.
