Topic: Input date entry
itay pro asked 6 years ago
Hi,
regardless of mdb-date-picker component, I am looking for a keyboard only way to input date, similar to Date Formatting in https://nosir.github.io/cleave.js/
What MDB component should help me ?
Thanks
PS. https://mdbootstrap.com/angular/forms/datepicker/ return 404

Dear mdb2, About link: The address to the date picker is https://mdbootstrap.com/angular/advanced/datepicker. It's an SEO case. But still, the date picker is located in the Forms category in our side nav. About input date - Could you please describe, which behavior exactly you want to achieve? Do you need to: Input text into datepicker field (your text will be automatically formatted to desired format date style), and datepicker modal won't show? Please let me know. Best Regards, Damianitay pro commented 6 years ago
Hi Damian, As described, I am looking for a keyboard only way to input date, similar to Date Formatting in https://nosir.github.io/cleave.js/ Scroll down to "Date formatting" I want the user to enter the date using the keyboard, e.g., 05/06/2018 rather then having to use the mouse for itDamian Gemza staff commented 6 years ago
For now there's no possibility with such behavior which you're describing. We could implement it in the future. But you have to specify me one thing - the datepicker modal should be visible after clicking on datepicker input or not? Best Regards, Damianitay pro commented 6 years ago
Damian, I am talking about a different component, that nothing to do with current datepicker modal.Damian Gemza staff commented 6 years ago
Dear mdb2, We haven't got such a component for now, but we'll think about implementing it in the future. Best Regards, Damian
