Topic: How to keep the side nav from collapsing by default.

I'm looking for docs on how to control the collapsed state of the side nav from a hamburger on the navbar. With material, we were able to use MatDrawerToggleResult and Input mode 'push' https://material.angular.io/components/sidenav/api#MatDrawerToggleResult)

I'm trying to figure out how to duplicate this effect using MDB now.

You can set [fixed] input to false or use show and hide methods. We explained how to use them in API section of sidenav documentation:
