When hovering over a basic tooltip, it instantly displays tooltip text, if you leave the hover space then return it will display the tooltip text again, however...

I noticed that when I apply a delay to the tooltip

(example: mdbTooltip="tool text" placement="top" delay="1000")

hovering over the tooltip is delayed but then the tooltip cannot activate again. It is delayed, shows once, then when you leave the hover area and come back it will not activate again.

Is this the expected behavior? If so why and is there a way to get the tooltip to show every time the item is hovered like the non-delayed tooltip?
