Topic: Documentation Update? How is Ripple method working on buttons?
Eireternal free asked 3 years ago
Expected behavior I expected the ripple effect to work by default on buttons without any additional imports.
Actual behavior Ripple effect does not work without adding 'mdbRipple' to and importing like follows: import { MdbRippleModule } from 'mdb-angular-ui-kit/ripple';
Resources (screenshots, code snippets etc.) https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/b5/angular/components/buttons/ The documentation at the link above never mentions the need to import. This can cause confusion as it did with me. The Basic Example has the ripple effect by default and I assumed all I needed was the html code and the css would take care of the ripple effect.
Documentation does state "Note: Read the API tab to find all available options and advanced customization" but it seems the API tab is missing from this page.
Suggestions Mention the need to import MdbRippleModule with the "API" button the team does with other components.
