Topic: Calendar modal
GaelNovo free asked 5 years ago
Hello,
I bought the full-calendar plugin from MDB. I was excited to include it in my project. But after a few tests, I became disappointed to learn we can't customize the modal. I saw some tickets few months ago telling us it was not possible. I would like to know if today it's something you fixed ? And to have something more professional, is it possible to deactivate the modal, to build mine ? And how ?
Thank you Antoine developer at Novolinko

Is there a workaround that lets me turn off the modal somehow?
Why would a user want to set a color-tag called 'success', 'warning' or whatever bs name into an event? It is also extremely inconvenient for the user to enter the time of the event..
i paid 79 euro and im definitely NOT satisfied with this product. it lacks essential elements...

Hi!
What exactly do you want to customize? You can overwrite your styles, but the functionality cannot be changed. We want to change it, but change like that requires breaking changes and we can't implement it yet.
Best Regards, Bartosz.

Is there any update on this? I purchased the plugin yesterday.. and in the state it is i can not use it in my app.
the modal should be switchable on/off at least.. and why are there no methods for add/edit/remove an event from the component-code?

Unfortunately, it's still not possible to use a custom modal in the calendar plugin.

I would also appreciate to be able to customize the modal. Wouldn't it be possible to include it as a provided property, so one could inject customized version by him/herself?

Such a feature is already on our to-do list and will be probably added to the plugin created for our new MDB5 Angular library (which use Bootstrap 5). But we can't provide an ETA yet.
