Topic: Angular Pro npm install not working
Francisco Fernández free asked 4 years ago
I just pruchased the Angular Pro version and followed the steps to install it via git from gitlab as per the following link: https://mdbootstrap.com/docs/angular/getting-started/quick-start/
When I tried:
npm install git+https://oauth2:MY_TOKEN@git.mdbootstrap.com/mdb/angular/ng-uikit-pro-standard.git --save
I received the following error and I can't see the project in gitlab either.
npm install git+https://oauth2:MY_TOKEN@git.mdbootstrap.com/mdb/angular/ng-uikit-pro-standard.git --save
npm ERR! Error while executing:
npm ERR! C:\Program Files\Git\cmd\git.EXE ls-remote -h -t https://oauth2:MY_TOKEN@git.mdbootstrap.com/mdb/angular/ng-uikit-pro-standard.git

How can I fix this?

Hi,
Unfortunately, the version of the license you purchased does not include repo access. The Unlimited Project license includes repo access.
Best regards,
Adam from MDB

HI, Thanks for the info, I managed to install it from the download. I would recommend to update the PRO version installation guides to reflect the different ways of doing occording to your version. As I was following the steps to try to install it in my project, I was thinking that was the easier way. If i would have known from the beginning I would have just done the local installation.
Thanks and best regards, Fran
