Topic: [Angular] How can I replicate Amazon search bar?

Giovanni De Stefano priority asked 6 years ago

Hello, I would like to replicate the Amazon search bar:
  1. dropdown on the left (min size)
  2. input field (that takes up all available space)
  3. search button (min size)
Something like this: https://imagebin.ca/v/3vkh5F8s5PoG Have you done anything similar with MDBootstrap (Angular)? Could you please share a snippet or a relevant reference to the documentation? Thanks!

Dear Giovanni, Keyword for this behavior is: Input Groups. Please check this link, there you can find everything what you will need to do something like this searchbar. https://mdbootstrap.com/angular/components/input-groups/ In next release we'll upgrade little bit appearance of input groups. Best Regards, Damian

Hello Damian, Thanks a lot for the link (I have no idea how I missed it :-( ). I'll give a shot to the "Button addons", as it seems pleasant enough to the eye. Cheers, Giovanni
